Amanda van Matre

Amanda Van Matre is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and customer service. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant for the City of Sycamore since October 2023, Amanda previously held senior and staff accountant positions at Resource Bank, N.A. from November 2010 to October 2023. Amanda began their career in commercial banking as a Commercial Banking Associate at American Chartered Bank (now MB Financial) from March 2008 to October 2010, following roles as Assistant Cashier and Customer Service Representative at First State Bank between August 2003 and March 2008. Amanda holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Northern Illinois University and an Associate of Science from Sauk Valley Community College.
