David Carnes

David Carnes is a Senior Analytic Architect at the City of Tallahassee since November 2011, where responsibilities include designing, developing, and deploying data analytics, data visualization, and predictive algorithms. In the role of Mobile Data Systems Coordinator within the Innovations Development team, David focuses on implementing solutions using advanced technologies like machine learning and predictive analytics, while also supporting Underground Utilities and Public Infrastructure. Previously, as a Business Systems Analyst, David led process improvement projects and created dashboards for wastewater treatment operations. Prior experience includes a tenure at Brandt Information Services, Inc. as a Senior Programmer/Analyst, where notable achievements included leading the development of a tablet-based application for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology from Florida State University.
