Ubie Brantley

Ubie Brantley, MBA, FMP, SFP has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Ubie'smost recent role was as the Director of Facilities at the City of Tallahassee, where they were responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of services through effective resource allocation. Prior to this, they served as the Facilities Manager at the same organization, supervising personnel and resources within the Facilities Management Division.

Before joining the City of Tallahassee, Ubie worked as the Deputy Director at the Florida Department of Management Services, where they assisted in leading and managing daily operations and divisional staff. Ubie was responsible for overseeing capital improvement plans and ensuring the maintenance and repair of state-owned property.

Ubie also gained valuable experience at the Leon County Government, where they served as the Operations Manager of the Public Safety Complex. Ubie'sresponsibilities included managing day-to-day operations, coordinating capital projects, and ensuring compliance with laws and policies.

Prior to their government roles, Ubie served in the military. Ubie worked at USSOCOM as the GMSC Operations, where they synchronized efforts between different desks and ensured accurate situational awareness. Ubie also served at the USAF Air Command and Staff College as a Graduate Student, completing a rigorous program focused on leadership and critical thinking.

Ubie's military experience also includes roles as the Engineering Assessor at the US NAVY- ENGINEERING ASSESSMENTS ATLANTIC, where they conducted compliance inspections, and as the Chief Engineer at USS UNDERWOOD (FFG-36), where they provided managerial direction for shipboard repairs and maintenance.

Earlier in their career, Ubie worked as the Special Projects Officer at CENEODDIVE, where they directed the development of training curriculum and maintained documentation. Ubie also served in various roles on different naval ships, including Damage Control Assistant on USS KLAKRING (FFG-42) and Auxiliaries Officer and Main Propulsion Officer on USS VICKSBURG (CG-69).
