Deputy Fire Chief at City of Thorold

Mike DeGasperis currently serves as the Deputy Fire Chief for the City of Thorold, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Mike held the same title with the City of Port Colborne from May 2021 to July 2023. Mike's career in the fire service began at Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services, where responsibilities included serving as a Training Officer and Firefighter from September 2010 to April 2021. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Brock University (2002-2006) and a Paramedic Diploma in Emergency Medical Technology from Canadian Therapeutic College (2007-2008).
