Karen Lewis is an experienced professional currently serving as the General Manager of Corporate Services for the City of Thunder Bay since April 2006, overseeing various departments including Corporate Information Technology and Internal Audit. Prior roles include General Manager of Development & Emergency Services, where responsibilities encompassed Planning and Emergency Services, and Director of Corporate Strategic Service, focusing on Corporate Communications and strategic initiatives. Additional experience includes serving as Interim CEO for the Thunder Bay Community Economic Development Commission and General Manager at Magnus Theatre. Karen Lewis began a career in journalism at The Canadian Press as a Reporter, Writer, and Editor, after graduating from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and earning an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from The University of Western Ontario.
