Laurie Abthorpe

Laurie Abthorpe is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in cultural development, public art coordination, and freelance design. Currently serving as the Cultural Development and Public Art Coordinator and Heritage Researcher for the City of Thunder Bay since March 2017, Laurie has extensive experience in real estate as a Sales Representative and Marketing Manager with RE/MAX First Choice Realty Ltd. and previously held positions focused on economic development and heritage programs. A freelance designer since December 2000, Laurie's education includes a degree in Design and Visual Arts from Georgian College and training in real estate sales from OREA Real Estate College.
