Carly Bowman

Carly Bowman is an experienced planner with a strong background in community planning and project management. Currently serving as the Director of the South District for Toronto and East York Community Planning since June 2014, Carly has held various positions within the City of Toronto, including Manager and Senior Planner in Community Planning and Technical Coordinator in the Waterfront Secretariat. Carly's expertise includes area studies, development review, and strategic project management related to transit expansion. Additionally, Carly served as the Volunteer Chair for the U of T Department of Geography and Planning Alumni Committee, where responsibilities included fundraising and organizing professional development events for MScPl students. Earlier experience includes working as a Land Use Planner at Goodmans LLP, focusing on land use and policy planning throughout the Greater Golden Horseshoe. Carly holds a Master of Science in Planning from the University of Toronto, earned between 2005 and 2007.
