Catherine Cieply

Catherine Cieply currently serves as the Manager of Applications for Development Review at the City of Toronto, a role held since September 2014, following previous positions including Senior Business Development Officer and Corporate Management & Policy Consultant within the City Manager's Office. Prior to these roles, Catherine acted as the Manager of Business Retention & Expansion and worked as a Senior Business Development Officer as well as a Senior and Community Planner in the City Planning Division from 1999 to 2013. Catherine's career began at the City of Calgary as a Planner in the Corporate Planning Applications Group from 1997 to 1999. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Planning from the University of Toronto and completed education at St. Mildred's-Lightbourn School in Oakville, Ontario.
