Josephine Cusumano

Josephine Cusumano currently serves as the Director of Strategic Policy in Corporate Services for the City of Toronto, beginning in August 2023. In this role, Josephine is a key member of the Corporate Services Senior Management Team, responsible for overseeing major policy, strategy, and political engagement priorities, as well as providing strategic advice to the Deputy City Manager and senior leadership. Prior experience includes various leadership and policy roles within the Ontario Government from 2012 to 2023, with a focus on the Ministry of Education, and positions at CreateTO and the City of Vaughan. Josephine holds a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning with Honours from Toronto Metropolitan University and completed the Curtner Leadership Program through the Urban Land Institute in 2020.
