Michael Moran

Michael Moran is an accomplished HR and Labour Relations leader with extensive experience in both public and private sectors. Currently serving as Manager of Employee & Labour Relations at the City of Toronto since 2016, Michael leads a team of Labour Relations professionals while supporting the strategic direction of the People & Equity Division. Previously, Michael held various key roles at Canadian Pacific from 1999 to 2016, including Manager of Labour Relations, where oversight was provided for multiple collective agreements and labour relations teams. Michael's background includes significant involvement in negotiations, arbitration, and human resources management, complemented by a comprehensive educational foundation in Labour Relations from the University of Calgary and other institutions.
