Roger Browne is a seasoned professional in traffic management with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director of Traffic Management for the City of Toronto since October 2013, Roger oversees the planning, design, construction, maintenance, and operation of over 2400 traffic signals, manages the RESCU Traffic Operations Centre, and coordinates traffic safety investigations and work zones. Prior to this role, Roger held various positions within the City of Toronto's Traffic Management division and served as a Senior Engineer and Sr. Project Engineer at the Ontario Ministry of Transportation. Roger holds a Master of Applied Science and Engineering in ITS Traffic Engineering and Operations from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Transportation and Highway Engineering from the University of Toronto.
