Sierra Boyer

Sierra Boyer has over a decade of experience in public relations and recreation management, currently serving as the Public Information Officer for the City of Tucson Parks and Recreation since June 2012. In this role, Sierra is tasked with enhancing the department's visibility and awareness through strategic marketing and public engagement initiatives. Previous positions include Social Media Marketing Specialist at NextMed and Program Director at YMCA of the USA, where responsibilities involved staff hiring, program implementation, and partnership collaborations. Additionally, Sierra held roles at the Town of Huntersville as Recreation Coordinator and Center Supervisor, focusing on program planning, staff supervision, and event management. Sierra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management and Marketing from Marshall University.
