Richard Rush has a diverse work experience in various roles related to strategic communications, journalism, public relations, and marketing. Richard is currently serving as the Executive Director of Strategic Communications at the City of Tuscaloosa since April 2019. Prior to this, they worked as an Assistant Professor of Journalism and Mass Communication at Samford University starting from August 2016.
