Katie Barron, PE, ENV-SP, has over two decades of experience in civil engineering, currently serving as Director of Engineering and City Engineer for the City of University Park since July 2019. Prior roles include Associate at Huitt-Zollars, Inc., and Project Manager at Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. Katie started a woman-owned engineering business, OJD Legacy, and has a strong background in various engineering disciplines, including rail-yard design and roadway design projects for both public and private clients. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
