Sheila Thomas

Sheila Thomas is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various governmental and private sector roles. Currently serving as an Accountant at MV Cheng Associates and a Senior Accountant for the City of Upland since 2020, Sheila has a strong background that includes positions such as Accounting Supervisor at MV Cheng and Associates and Senior Accountant at the City of Palm Springs. Previous experience encompasses roles at the City of Colton and the City of Moreno Valley, where responsibilities included maintaining general ledger functions and supporting ERP implementations. With ownership of Thomas Accounting and Tax Services from 2005 to 2011, Sheila provided bookkeeping and accounting services to small businesses. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Business Administration from Bennett College, further study in Accounting at the University of Cincinnati, and an MBA in Finance from the University of Phoenix.
