Cory Koker has extensive law enforcement experience, currently serving as a Criminal Investigations Division Lieutenant and Patrol Division Lieutenant for the City of Urbana, Illinois since June 2000. Koker's previous roles include Patrol Division Sergeant and Patrol Officer, as well as an Investigator specializing in juvenile law cases. Additionally, Koker has been an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Police Training & Research Institute since November 2015, teaching tactical communications and conflict management. With prior experience as a Patrol Officer at Winchester Police Department and as a Correctional Officer and 911 Officer at Morgan County Sheriff's Office, Koker holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice/Psychology from MacMurray College and various law enforcement certifications.
