Tamra Jane Lighty

Tamra Jane Lighty has extensive experience in human resources and media relations. Currently serving as Human Resources Coordinator for the City of Urbana, Illinois since September 2018, Tamra previously held positions at the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and CVB from November 2007 to September 2018, including Media Relations Manager and Project Coordinator. In the role of Media Relations Manager, Tamra developed strong relationships with media and successfully executed media relations plans. As Project Coordinator, responsibilities included coordinating various Chamber events and maintaining membership databases. Tamra holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from College of the Ozarks, earned between 2004 and 2007.
