Kayla Seib

Kayla Seib has extensive experience in sport hosting, marketing, and event management, currently serving as the Manager of Sport Hosting Vancouver with the City of Vancouver since May 2023. In this role, Kayla supports the strategic plan for sport hosting, collaborating with various stakeholders to promote Vancouver as a prime destination for major sporting events. Prior to this, Kayla held multiple positions within Destination Canada, including Marketing Specialist for the US and Business Events, and served as Sponsorship & Events Manager at Talk Shop. Additional experience includes roles as Program Design Manager at Cantrav Services Inc., Torchbearer Operations Manager for the Rio 2016 and Toronto 2015 events, Tourism Marketing Manager at Ivanhoé Cambridge, and various positions in marketing and operations related to tourism and relay events. Kayla's educational background includes studies at British Columbia Institute of Technology, Simon Fraser University, and Royal Roads University.
