Lesley Matthews

Lesley Matthews is an experienced public administration professional with a notable career spanning over two decades at the City of Vancouver. Currently serving as Acting Director of Business and Election Services and Deputy City Clerk, Matthews has held various key roles since joining the city in 2001, including Chief of External Relations and Protocol, and Acting Deputy City Clerk. Other significant positions include Project Manager for Olympic and Paralympic Operations and Business Consultant. Prior to the City of Vancouver, professional experience includes roles such as Contract Policy Analyst at the Liquor Control and Licensing Branch of British Columbia and Contract Consultant at the British Columbia Utilities Commission. Lesley Matthews holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Victoria, alongside a post-diploma in Business Administration from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Victoria.
