Michael Liu is a seasoned Computer Programmer and Analyst with a strong background in data conversion and database migration, notably with the City of Vancouver since July 2013. Previously, Michael held management roles as Development Lead and Scrum Master at POS King Software Inc., where responsibilities included system design and cloud-based application development. Prior experience also includes serving as Technical Team Lead at Objectiva, starting as a Software Developer, and working as a Software Engineer at Beida Jade Bird Software Co., Ltd., contributing to GIS and forest fire prevention projects. Michael Liu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Yanshan University and has furthered education in Web and Mobile Application Development at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
