Sonny Lui

Sonny Lui is a finance professional with extensive experience in cash management and financial reporting, currently serving as a Corporate Cash Coordinator for the City of Vancouver since January 2017. Prior roles include Financial Reporting Accountant Clerk and Treasury Cash Management Analyst (Intern) within the same organization, as well as a T1 Matching Assessor and Taxpayer Services Agent at the Canada Revenue Agency. Sonny’s experience also includes serving as a Client Advisor for both Business Services and general clients at the Royal Bank of Canada from September 2010 to January 2016. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Simon Fraser University, a Diploma in Accounting from The University of British Columbia, and a Business Administration Diploma from Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Currently pursuing a qualification from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada), expected completion in May 2025.
