Taryn Scollard is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in municipal operations, currently serving as the Deputy General Manager of Engineering - Operation and Safety for the City of Vancouver since August 2010. Taryn's expertise encompasses safety, operational efficiencies, and asset management, alongside a strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Previous roles include Director of the Streets Division, where responsibility included significant operating and capital budgets and leadership of 750 employees, and Manager of Parking Operations and Enforcement, where customer satisfaction initiatives were implemented. Taryn's career also includes leadership at the Public Works Association of BC and various engineering roles with the City of Vancouver and County of Elgin. Taryn holds an MBA from Simon Fraser University and a B.A.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Western University.
