Kay-Ann Brown

Kay-Ann Brown, CPA, has extensive experience in financial management, currently serving as the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis at the City of Vaughan since November 2014, with prior roles including Project Manager for Infrastructure Financing and Acting Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis. Previous experience includes the position of Senior Accountant at Just Energy from May 2010 to November 2014 and Senior Corporate Accountant at Breakthrough Entertainment Inc. from August 2004 to May 2010. Educational qualifications include a Chartered Professional Accountant designation from CPA Canada, a Certified General Accountant certification from Certified General Accountants of Ontario, an Honors Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting and Finance from Laurentian University (2007-2009), and an Accounting diploma from Humber College (2001-2004).
