Roger Navarro

Roger Navarro has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Roger has held various leadership roles throughout their career. Most recently, Roger worked as the Director of Information Technology at the City of Venice, Florida. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Information Officer at Catholic Charities Diocese of Venice, Inc. Roger also held the position of Director of Information Technology at the Diocese of Venice in Florida, where they were responsible for IT across multiple locations. Earlier in their career, Roger worked as an Infrastructure Management Consultant, providing strategic planning and advice to senior leadership on infrastructure solutions. Roger also gained valuable experience at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where they held several management positions and led teams responsible for global technology services. Roger began their career as a Network Lead at the University of Miami School of Law, where they managed the operations of their LAN infrastructure. Throughout their career, Roger has demonstrated their expertise in technology strategy, infrastructure management, and team leadership.

Roger Navarro has a diverse education history. Roger obtained a CGCIO degree in Organizational Leadership from Florida State University in 2023. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix between 2005 and 2007. In 1997, they pursued undergraduate studies in Engineering at Florida International University - College of Engineering & Computing, and in 2000 at the University of Miami. Throughout their career, Roger also acquired additional certifications, including ITIL Foundation from EXIM in 2014. Roger further enhanced their skills through programs such as Pathwise Leadership, where they completed "The 10 Essentials" in Organizational Leadership.
