Kari Gares

Kari Gares is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public service and the mortgage industry. Currently serving as the Regional Director for the Regional District of North Okanagan and as CEO of My Assistant Alex since June 2021, Kari Gares has been a Vernon City Councillor since October 2018. Additionally, Kari Gares is a co-owner and independent mortgage specialist at Verico MHC Mortgage House, which has been operational since April 2011 and has earned a Platinum Award for excellence. Prior to these roles, Kari Gares worked as a Mobile Mortgage Specialist at TD Canada Trust from August 1997 to April 2011. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in History and Psychology from Okanagan University, completed from 1994 to 1999.
