Michael E. Saldana Jr.

Michael E. Saldana Jr. is a seasoned Firefighter Paramedic with extensive experience in emergency services, currently serving at the City of Vista since August 2018. Prior to this role, Saldana gained valuable experience as a Reserve Firefighter at the Rancho Santa Fe Fire Protection District and the North County Fire Protection District, where a focus was placed on patient care as a Single Role Paramedic. Saldana's career began as a Volunteer Firefighter with the Elfin Forest/Harmony Grove Fire Department and includes roles such as Event Staff, Material Handler, and Motorcycle Builder/Delivery Driver, showcasing a diverse skill set in both firefighting and logistics. Educational qualifications include studies at Palomar Community College and California State University San Marcos. Additionally, Saldana has contributed to youth development as a soccer coach for both Rancho Buena Vista High School and the Vista Storm Soccer Club.
