Monica Sedelmeier has a diverse work experience in various industries. Monica is currently the Director of Communications and Marketing at the City of Waco, TX. Previously, they held multiple roles at Sioux Center Health, including Chief Quality Officer, Marketing and Foundation Officer, and Interim Chief Executive Officer. Before that, they worked at Seasons Center for Behavioral Health as a Marketing and Outreach specialist. Prior to that, they worked at Houston ISD in roles such as Manager, Linked Learning and Intermediate Technology Project Manager. Monica also served as the Chief of Staff Analyst. Their earlier experience includes working as a Client Manager, Executive Education at Rice University.

After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business with a focus on Marketing at Wayne State College from 1999 to 2002. Later, from 2007 to 2008, they attended Colorado Technical University to earn a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Management.
