Jason Rottman has a diverse work experience, starting in 2010 when they served in the US Army as a 94E, Radio and Communications Security (COMSEC) Repairer. During their time in the army, they also worked as an Information Management Officer (IMO) and a communications representative for an aviation support company. In 2015, Rottman joined i3 Business Solutions, LLC, where they held the roles of Project Engineer and eventually became the Project Team Lead. In these roles, they were responsible for deploying and maintaining on-premise and cloud systems for SMBs, including Office 365 migrations and managing networking and fiber networks. Since 2019, Rottman has been working as the Director of Information Technology at the City of Walker.
Jason Rottman's education history began in 2008 when they enrolled at Lansing Community College. Jason completed their Associate in Applied Science degree in Computer Repair and Support Technician in 2015.
Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Network Management and Design at Davenport University from 2015 to 2017, specializing in Server Administration.
In addition to their degrees, Jason has obtained several certifications to further enhance their expertise. In 2009, they earned the A+ certification from CompTIA. Subsequently, they obtained the MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure certification from Microsoft in October 2017, followed by the MCSA: Office 365 certification in March 2018.
Moreover, they hold the Project+ certification from CompTIA, obtained in July 2018, and the CCNA Routing and Switching certification from Cisco, acquired in August 2018.
