Jonathan Maland

Jonathan Maland is a seasoned planning professional with extensive experience in urban and regional planning. Currently serving as a Senior Planner for the City of Walla Walla Development Services since January 2015, Jonathan is a key member of the management team, working alongside the Director, Building Official, and Permit Coordinator. Jonathan's past roles include Principal Planner at the Walla Walla Joint Community Development Agency from 2011 to 2015, where Jonathan contributed to the agency's formation through a merger of local development departments, and Senior Planner for the City of Walla Walla from 2006 to 2011, leading significant planning projects. Earlier experience includes serving as a Planner for Walla Walla County from 2000 to 2006 and a Winter Recreation Specialist at SnowSports Industries America from 1992 to 2000. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning from Eastern Washington University, earned between 1992 and 1996.
