Matt Redmond

Matt Redmond is an experienced transportation engineer currently serving as an Associate Transportation Engineer for the City of Walnut Creek since September 2019. Prior to this role, Matt worked at Iteris, Inc. in various capacities, including Senior Transportation Engineer, and also held positions at CLR Analytics Inc. and IBI Group, focusing on skills such as bike lane implementation, ITS design, and parking management studies. Matt contributed to mobile application development for a pedestrian safety awareness app and engaged in transportation research at UC Irvine, where advancements in Bluetooth technology for traffic analysis were developed. Matt holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from UC Irvine and a degree in Physics from UC San Diego.
