Kristin Jo Dyer

Kristin Jo Dyer, AICP, has extensive experience in urban planning and historic preservation. Currently serving as City Planner II for the City of Warrensburg, MO since December 2017, Kristin has a background that includes roles as Chief Planning Official for the City of Grandview and Planner for the City of Tulsa Planning and Development Department. Responsibilities have encompassed project management for historic preservation permits, community outreach, and the preparation of technical reports. Kristin's earlier experiences include military service as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, where leadership and training of personnel were key duties, as well as internships focused on historical documentation and digital archiving with Kentucky State Parks and the Kentucky Archeological Survey. Kristin holds a Master’s Degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor's Degree in History from Cumberland University.
