Melissa Deboer

Melissa DeBoer, AICP worked as a Community Development Intern at the City of Merriam, Kansas and as a Planner at City of Leawood. Melissa also served as a Planning Intern at the City of Sioux City. Currently, Melissa holds multiple titles at City of Waukee, including Planning Coordinator, Senior Planner, and Planner II. Melissa's responsibilities have included writing staff reports, presenting cases to commissions and councils, creating maps using ArcGIS, conducting site inspections, reviewing building plans, and assisting with long-range planning projects. Melissa has extensive experience in working with the public and handling zoning-related inquiries.
