Nick Nystrom

Nick Nystrom currently serves as the Assistant Director of Public Works for the City of Wayzata, a position held since September 2023. Nystrom has extensive experience in public works and real estate, having worked as a Real Estate Salesperson for Silver Creek Properties since July 2016, as well as serving in various public works roles for the City of Robbinsdale and City of Brooklyn Center from 2004 to 2023. Nystrom's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from St. Cloud State University and multiple certificates in public works leadership and management from Hamline University and the University of Minnesota. Nystrom is currently pursuing a Masters in Management and Leadership at Hamline University, set to complete in September 2025.
