Stephen Dixon

Stephen Dixon has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Stephen started their career as a Computer Systems Analyst at Southern Illinois University in 1995, where they repaired and maintained computers, installed and upgraded software, and maintained department inventory. Stephen then took on the role of Local Area Network Administrator, where they continued to repair and maintain computers and also maintained the Microsoft SQL server for a county-wide police records management system.

In 2003, Stephen joined Jackson County 911 as a Network Specialist, responsible for setting up and configuring Cisco routers and switches for a regional 911 project. Stephen also repaired and maintained computers and provided technical support for the local area networks and wide area network.

From 2005 to 2014, Stephen worked part-time as a Network Specialist for the County of Jackson. Stephen'sresponsibilities included repairing and maintaining computers, providing technical support for the county's local area networks and wide area network, and maintaining Microsoft SQL servers for the county's tax and payroll systems.

Since 2014, Stephen has been employed by the City of Wentzville. Stephen initially served as a Network Administrator, responsible for the city's network infrastructure. Later, in 2017, they were promoted to the role of Director of Information Technology.
