John Floyd

John Floyd is a seasoned planning professional with extensive experience in long-range planning. Currently serving as a Senior Planner for the City of West Linn since April 2021, John has held similar senior positions at Mackenzie and Washington County, where responsibilities included planning initiatives and project management. Prior roles include Associate Planner at the City of Tigard and Associate Land Use Planner at PMC, offering a solid foundation in land use and urban planning. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Luther College, complemented by a junior year abroad at the University of Nottingham.
