Samuel Schwarz

Samuel Schwarz is an experienced GIS professional currently serving as a GIS Specialist for the City of West Linn since August 2021, focusing on the technical aspects of geographic information systems and asset management. Prior to this role, Samuel worked as a GIS Technician at Anderson Perry & Associates, where responsibilities included CAD/GIS conversion and data maintenance for various projects. Experience also includes managing web map applications for wildfires at FireWhat Inc. and interpreting satellite imagery at Oregon State University. Earlier roles included internships with the U.S. Forest Service and Central Oregon Irrigation District. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Oregon State University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Central Oregon Community College.
