Mark Polhemus

Mark Polhemus currently serves as the Community Investment Manager for the City of West Sacramento, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this role, Mark worked at the California Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) as a Senior Program Manager for Community Investments from August 2021 to June 2023. Mark's extensive experience in economic and community development includes positions at Economic & Planning Systems, Inc. as a Senior Associate, Associate, and Research Analyst II, as well as roles at WALKSacramento, Sierra Business Council, Sacramento Area Council of Governments, and the City of Sacramento. Mark holds an Executive Master of Urban Planning from the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy and a Bachelor's Degree in City Regional Planning from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
