Randall Goodwin

Randall Goodwin is an experienced professional in the architecture and building management field, currently serving as Building Official and City Architect for the City of West Sacramento since July 2010. Goodwin has held various roles within the City of West Sacramento since October 1999, focusing on building permit processing, inspections, and overseeing structural engineering consultants. Prior experience includes positions as Design Department Manager at Ridge Builders Group and Partner at Goodwin Kain Design Build, where responsibilities encompassed custom home design, construction document production, and administration. Goodwin's academic credentials include a Master of Architecture from Montana State University-Bozeman, a Certificate in Construction Management from the University of California Davis, and ongoing education at the University of California, Davis in Leadership Academy.
