David R. Celebrezze

David R. Celebrezze is a seasoned sustainability professional with extensive experience in environmental management and community resilience. Currently serving as the Sustainability Coordinator for the City of Westerville since May 2024, David previously held the position of Resilience and Behavior Change Manager for the City of Columbus, where responsibilities included implementing the Columbus Climate Action Plan focused on climate adaptation. As the GreenSpot Coordinator, David managed social media, organized significant community events, and worked with various groups to enhance membership. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Air & Water Special Projects at the Ohio Environmental Council, addressing wetlands and air quality issues, and as the Director of the National Hopeline Network at the Kristin Brooks Hope Center, overseeing crisis center operations. David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the College of Wooster.
