Hans Asmussen

Hans Asmussen has extensive experience in law enforcement and labor relations, currently serving as a Police Detective and Digital Forensics Examiner with the City of Wichita Kansas since October 1995. As part of the Kansas Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, Hans analyzes data from various electronic devices for criminal investigations. Career progression includes roles as Crime Stoppers Coordinator, Financial Crimes Detective, and Patrol Officer. Additionally, Hans has held multiple leadership positions within the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #5, including President, Vice President, and Chief Lodge Steward, focusing on negotiation, grievance handling, and member representation. Educated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Wichita State University, Hans's commitment to both law enforcement and peer advocacy is evident throughout a diverse and impactful career.
