Jesse R. Romo

Jesse R. Romo, A.A.E., currently serves as the Director of Airports for the City of Wichita Kansas since November 2021. Previously, Jesse held the position of Airport Director at Manhattan Regional Airport from April 2015 to November 2021, where strategic leadership was provided for the airport's terminal construction and operations. Additionally, Jesse has experience as an adjunct instructor at Kansas State University and Baker University, teaching various management courses. Past roles also include Director of Aviation for the Kansas Department of Transportation, where oversight of the state airport grant program was conducted, and management positions with the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and TBI Inc. Jesse holds an MBA from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a BA in Sociology from UCLA.
