Ken Evans has over 30 years of experience in communications and public relations. Ken is currently working as the Strategic Communications Director for the City of Wichita, Kansas. Prior to this, they worked as an Executive Consultant at Ken Evans Consulting.

Before venturing into consulting, Ken held various roles at Spirit AeroSystems, including Senior Manager of Executive & External Communications, Branding, and Senior Manager of Corp Communications & Creative Services. Ken also served as the VP of Public Relations at Hinkle Agency, providing creative services and PR to a wide range of clients in various industries.

Ken started their career as a Statehouse Reporter at WIBW-TV and later served as the Public Information Officer for the Kansas Department of Commerce.

Ken Evans received their Bachelor of Journalism degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where they attended from 1985 to 1987. Prior to that, they attended Kansas State University from 1983 to 1985, focusing on Radio/TV studies. Ken also holds a CPI 260 Certification obtained from CPP, Inc. in 2011.
