Teresa Veazey

Teresa Veazey currently serves as a Community Services Representative for City Council Districts 2 & 5 with the City of Wichita, Kansas, a position held since May 2023. Previously, Teresa was the Public Relations Manager at the Wichita Art Museum from June 2013 to May 2023 and held the same title at the Ulrich Museum of Art from June 2007 to June 2013, where Teresa also served as Interim Director. Teresa's career includes experience as a Brand Reputation Manager at Sullivan Higdon & Sink and various roles at the Ulrich Museum of Art and The Society of Decorative Painters, where responsibilities included publicity, outreach, membership, and marketing coordination. Teresa's early career began at The Newton Kansan as a circulation/front desk clerk. Teresa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from The University of Kansas and has also attended Wichita State University, with prior education at Hesston High School.
