J. Brett Taylor

J Brett Taylor, Ed.D., currently serves as the Director of Finance for the City of Wilmington, DE, overseeing financial systems and customer account management. In addition to this role, J Brett Taylor has been an Adjunct Professor at Wilmington University for over 20 years, teaching business management and finance at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Previous positions include Director of Business Development for Diamond Technologies, Inc., Principal Owner of InForm Org Dynamics LLC, Founder and Executive Director of the Delaware STEM Academy, Special Assistant for Legislation, Budget and Policy at the Delaware Department of Transportation, Chief Financial Officer for the Red Clay Consolidated School District, Director of Bond Finance for the State of Delaware, and Chief of Staff for the Delaware Department of Public Safety. J Brett Taylor holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Delaware, a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Rhode Island, and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from West Chester University, alongside certifications in strategic leadership and organizational leadership.
