Steve Dexter

Steve Dexter, M.A., SHRM-SCP, serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the Philadelphia Gay Men's Chorus since July 2023. As the Director of Classification & Compensation and Human Resources Administrator for the City of Wilmington, DE since December 2020, Steve Dexter has contributed significantly to human resources management. Prior roles include Senior Associate Director for Alumni Relations at the University of Delaware, where responsibilities involved regional and young alumni programs, and various positions in residential life at Temple University focused on leadership development and staff recruitment. Notably, experience at Apple Inc. as a Specialist emphasized customer service skills. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in College Student Personnel and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
