Bentley Earnest

Bentley Earnest is an Associate City Planner for the City of Wilmington, NC, since August 2023, and previously served as a Research Fellow at MobilizeGreen. Bentley has held various leadership roles during the academic tenure at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, including Secretary/Head of Administration for the Public Administration Student Association, where responsibilities involved event organization and support for student funding initiatives. Participation in the NASPAA Global Simulation Conference allowed Bentley to collaborate on policy simulations and conduct qualitative research on pandemic policy impacts. Prior experience includes roles as Lead Bartender at Safari Miles Bar and Grill, Head Cashier/Front End Leader at Lowe's Companies, Administrative Assistant at Chirolife Wellness Center, and Honors Program Administrative Assistant at Georgia College & State University. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Urban Management and Policy from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Georgia College & State University.
