Craig Harris

Craig Harris currently serves as the Emergency Management & Resiliency Coordinator for the City of Wilmington, NC, since June 2019, having previously held positions as an Associate Planner in both Comprehensive and Current Planning and Zoning. Prior experience includes serving as Floodplain Administrator for the Pender County Planning Department from September 2017 to June 2019, where responsibilities included evaluating drainage issues and enforcing flood damage ordinances. Craig also worked as a Planning Department MPA Fellow at the Town of Carolina Beach, focusing on various community projects. Early in their career, Craig held management roles at Tidal Creek Co-op and The Fresh Market. Craig holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from George Mason University.
