Moses Matyayi

Moses Matyayi's work experience includes various executive and managerial roles in both the public and private sectors. Moses has served as the Chief Executive Officer for the City of Windhoek since 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Director on the Board of Directors for the Namibia Broadcasting Corporation starting in 2015. Moses also served as the Chief Executive Officer for the Municipality of Otjiwarongo from 2020 to 2023 and for the Otavi Town Council from 2010 to 2020. Additionally, they were the Chairperson of the Board of Directors for Cenored Pty Ltd from 2020 to 2023. Throughout their career, they have held various roles in HR and management within government organizations such as the Otjiwarongo Municipality, Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration, and Ministry of Finance.

Moses Matyayi completed their education in a chronological order. In 2002, they obtained a National Diploma in Human Resources Management/Business Management from the Polytechnic of Namibia. Moses then pursued further studies and obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Human Resources Management/Business Management from the same institution in 2009. More recently, from 2017 to 2019, Moses attended London Metropolitan University and achieved a Master of Arts Degree in Human Resource Management and Employment Services.
