Marta Dabros

Marta Dabros is an experienced records and information management professional currently serving as the Records and Information Management Coordinator for the City of Winnipeg since August 2019. In addition, Marta has been the President and Archivist at Ogniwo Polish Museum since 2013, managing archives development and creating policies and procedures. Previous roles include Information Manager for the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls, where strategic planning and management of the information management program were key responsibilities. Marta also served as an Archival Assistant at the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation and as an Archivist for the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada, managing extensive archival collections. Early career experiences include roles as an Archives Assistant at the University of Manitoba and an Editorial Assistant at the University of Alberta. Marta holds a Master's degree in Archival Studies from the University of Manitoba and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta, with a focus on Sociology, History, and Classics.
