William Hackney

William Hackney has a diverse background in software development and application support, currently serving as an Application Specialist at the City of Winter Springs since February 2021. Prior experience includes teaching as a Web Developer College Instructor at Valencia College from August 2018 to December 2020, where William developed and assessed course materials in server-side programming and advanced web development. Internships at both The Walt Disney Company and McKesson offered hands-on experience in big data engineering. With a solid foundation as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Florida, William contributed to research on data visualization and taught a variety of computing skills to students through summer camps. William holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of North Florida.
